Cath McLardy

Cath is an expert educator having experience in many primary school settings across Melbourne and the UK. Cath actively demonstrates the communication and organisational skills to liaise effectively with all school stakeholders and form strong relationships with the teachers she is working with. In addition to her wealth of classroom knowledge, her experience includes working with RMIT pre-service students, and in a range of literacy leadership positions in schools. As a literacy teacher leader her strengths include working collaboratively towards implementing rigorous teaching and learning models through the Independent reading and writer’s notebook approaches to effective literacy instruction. She is passionate about developing strong relationships with schools including principals, teachers and students empowering them to share their talents and work collectively to drive continuous improvement.
