Dilek is an experienced educator who has worked in schools across Victoria as a Leading Teacher leading Literacy and Professional Learning Teams, literacy coach, literacy coordinator, and presenter of the Leading Literacy for Networks BASTOW program.
Dilek has a strong belief in the effectiveness of independent reading, the gradual release instructional model, classroom libraries, conferring and differentiation and is passionate about assisting schools and teachers to implement best practice in their classrooms.
Dilek has provided professional development and support to teachers including, literacy strategies, Reading and Writing workshops with a focus on speaking and listening and vocabulary development, and analysing data to inform practice. She confidently works within a whole school or individual coaching basis.
