I began my career as a secondary History/English teacher, and spent 18 years working in schools as a classroom teacher. In 2007, I transitioned into education consultancy, collaborating closely with schools and groups of teachers to advance their professional growth. A significant milestone during this period was the co-creation of the Quality Teaching Rounds (QTR) program with Laureate Professor Jenny Gore.

As an in-service teacher educator, I focused on a strategic approach to developing case based solutions across primary and secondary schools contexts. I am committed to a coherent approach to Teacher Education program design, and have taught both undergraduate and postgraduate foundations courses. A driving passion of mine lies in shaping pedagogical approaches that foster equitable educational experiences.
