Jessica has over 12 years of experience in Education. Her passion lies in developing teacher confidence to deliver targeted and informed Maths instruction. She has held various positions within schools, including PLT Leader, Leading Teacher and Numeracy Whole School Leader. Additionally she has worked as a Critical Friend and Project Manager for a Not-for-profit Education Organisation and currently her main role as a Numeracy Consultant. Jessica brings her vast knowledge of Numeracy Education to teams and individual teachers to enhance their repertoire of skills.
Jessica’s approach focuses on implementing a Mathematical instructional model and planning for effective Numeracy instruction through the use of data and assessment and modelling of lessons. Jessica believes in the power of meeting students at their point of need and providing structures to allow for exploration, connected learning and problem solving. She sees the benefit of blending both in-person coaching and using innovative approaches, drawing on technology in the form of webinars, online courses and interactive online resources.
As an experienced Teacher, Leader and Coach, Jessica’s priority is to inspire as many teachers as possible so that more students will have a positive and memorable learning experience with lasting impacts on their educational journey.
