Kerri is a highly experienced educational leader at DET system level, including within networks and leadership of schools. Of her 45 years of service, Kerri was a high-performing Principal in four Primary schools, contributing to her 28 years in the Principal class. Her career includes four years within the DET system as a Regional Network Leader (RNL) in the former Northern Metropolitan Region. In this role Kerri was instrumental in implementing and embedding the ‘Powerful Learning’ a NMR wide school improvement strategy in primary, secondary and special schools as well as in several alternative educational settings. Kerri was a key project manager within these schools.
Kerri has experience with critical stakeholders within the LLEN including schools, tertiary institutions, employer groups and community providers who play a key role in assisting with the facilitation of service delivery to alternative educational settings for certificated training opportunities for young people.
Kerri was Regional Network Leader from 2007-2012 in the Northern Metropolitan Region of Melbourne. The role required school improvement leadership across a network of 25 designated schools including an active role in developing and implementing the Regional Improvement Strategy led by Wayne Craig and Professor David Hopkins.
As a recent school Principal Kerri has strong and practical knowledge of strategic planning that supports the State Education Goals and Targets. She brings a wide and experienced professional network which will provide information and service to schools and other educational settings.
