Vic has extensive experience, within Australia and internationally, in education and broader public service settings. With over forty years experience working as a teacher, school leader and in various senior policy and managerial roles, Vic has supported public and independent schools to achieve their school improvement agenda, as well as working on evidence-based education reforms in numerous countries around the world.
Vic’s work reflects a strong focus on research, evaluation, strategic thinking and effective stakeholder engagement. To these ends, he has worked extensively with subject matter experts, business organisations, NGO’s, primary, secondary and higher education, and both domestic and international government institutions.
Vic brings a deep expertise in school registration, compliance, child safety standards and program review, languages policy (including bilingual education, community language schools, language assistants, student and teacher exchange), and international education (global education, international students, professional development and study tours in overseas settings). He has supported and advised schools in curriculum, assessment and reporting design and practice, as well as in the use of effective pedagogy, including classroom management. Furthermore, Vic has worked directly with a host of not-for-profit strategic partners to deliver curriculum enrichment and enhancement programs that improve student achievement and improve teacher capability in settings outside of mainstream schools.
