Nicole Thompson and Jessica Batinovic from schoolED Consulting present a one-hour professional development opportunity for teachers and leaders who are wanting to explore the next layer of Number Talks in their classroom.
This PD will look at the representations used, making connections between strategies and exploring generalisations. In the 21st Century, students need to be effective and independent users of mathematics. Number Talks will alter your maths environment to one where students are discussing their mental strategies, taking risks and learning from mistakes.
