schoolED is pleased to announce their 2025 Study Tour for Educators. To support your school’s improvement agenda schoolED is hosting a one-week education tour of New York City focusing on the Science of Learning and connecting how students learn with practical implications for teaching.
Explore the key principles of Learning and the Brain’s three day conference – The Science of Learning.
This interdisciplinary conference will explore the “Science of Learning” and the latest research and innovations in the science of learning, teaching, reading, math, science learning, and leadership. Discover scientific research and evidence-based practices to innovate and transform how you teach; improve formative assessments and tests; integrate data, AI, and technology for meaningful engagement; create a school culture of innovation; transform learning spaces; and sustain school leadership for the future.
A feature of the tour will be visits to New York City schools, speaking with educators and school leaders. This invaluable tour will also see participants meet with system leaders to learn more about school implementation. Daily hotel debrief sessions ensure you get the most from your days and schoolED consultants will be available for further advice and support upon returning to Australia.

I have always been curious about education systems outside Australia therefore I was very keen to visit and speak with principals, teachers and students as part of this tour. It did not disappoint as I thoroughly enjoyed the three very diverse schools we were taken to. I was able to bring back to my executive team new practices to trial to improve student engagement and some actionable ideas on emphasising the process of learning over the products. Visiting New York City with an experienced team also meant that I was able to curate an outstanding itinerary of relevant sights and experiences which complimented the school tours and the conference itself. This led to a highly enjoyable journey of exploration, learning, reflection and fun! I highly recommend!
