From classrooms to curtain calls, NYC and the team at schoolED know how to put on a show!
My recent trip to New York City for an educational study tour was an incredible experience—equal parts inspiring, eye-opening, and most importantly fun!
We kicked things off by visiting a range of schools across the city, each with its own unique approach to teaching and learning. It was amazing to see how different schools tackle challenges and create engaging environments for their students. We got to chat with teachers and students, sit in on classes, and see how innovative programs are being put into action every day. It really broadened our perspective and gave us plenty of ideas to bring back home. At one school, it even felt like I was in a teen movie with people lining up for prom tickets!
Our three-day Learning and the Brain conference, was packed with energy and great discussions. The sessions covered a wide range of topics including classroom technology, how the brain learns, student well-being, and leadership empowerment just to name a few. The speakers were passionate, the workshops were interactive, and the whole event had a great vibe. We left with our minds buzzing and notebooks full of ideas.
This tour was more than just professional development—it was a chance to connect, reflect, and be inspired with a great group of people, who I now consider dear friends.
Whether you’re an educator or school leader, I would certainly recommend any of the tours that schoolED provide. They offer the perfect balance of learning by day and exploring by night.
Thank you Paul, Lou and the team for a wonderful adventure that I will cherish and never forget!
